Who makes Megabass blanks?

Just wondering who makes Megabass blanks? I heard that Daiko makes alot of blanks for many of the really good Japanese rod companies such as Evergreen and such, but does this also include Megabass? Thanks.

MEGABASS ROLLS THEIR OWN! =D> In regards to DAIKO, I have actually heard the opposite. I have heard that Daiko no longer supplies blanks to other manufacturers and in fact, may not even be building their own rods on proprietary blanks.

I've been hearing a long time ago that some blanks were made by Berkley.
Any one already heard such a thing?

hmm Berkley. If they were then I lose all respect for megabass.

Berkley, you've got to be kidding. There is no way Berkley is making blanks for any Japanese firm. Berkley makes good, not great, fishing line and very good soft plastic baits. Their rods are in a word HORRIBLE. Their new half soft plastic half hard topwater frog looks like it might be a winner however. Anybody ever used one? Snidley

yea they are some great baits and the legs kick out when you jerk the bait kinda neat if you ask me.

Skeet have you caught fish with them? I find many baits look good (Lucky Craft Live Pointers that cost me $25 and didn't catch even 1 fish) but don't produce on the water. I have seen a TV fisherman who flacks for Berkley catch really decent Largemoth AND Smallmouth with the Berkley Bungee Frog here in Ontario so I suspect that they are good for up here. I know I do very well with the Rebel crankbait frog here locally especially when I can actually hear frogs croaking on my local fishin' river that runs right through town. I'd love to catch theose same fish using an effective topwater frog on those same occasions. Snidley

yea ive caught fish on it. Use it in the morning for topwater and throw it around any grass. Nice thing is that it does come with extra legs so that is kinda nice.

ive been eyeing one of them but i have NEVER been much of a berkley kinda guy, and i dont know why??? just never been into it much
