Do I hear a Shimano partnership in the near future?

Interested in who he is going to. Have a feeling based on his "love" of JDM Shimano reels that he might sport a Jackall shirt at the Classic.

I hope Amart can bring excitement to Shimano rods since their 1 year warranty dissapointed many. I'm sort of joking here.

MB said "Aaron is one of the most gifted anglers of his time, and it is no surprise to us that a fledgling brand would invest heavily in his services.” This is a statement that leads me to beleive that Aaron may not choose Shimano as a rod sponsor. Shimano is hardly fledgling. I'm obviously reading between the lines.

Wow! He's been with MB for a long time.

It will be interesting to see who AMart teams up with.

But Jackall could be considered a small company even though they are partenered with Shimano. Though I think it would be awesome if he joined with a company such as 13Fishing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Shimano and Jackall might be partners but I don't think Shimano actually owns Jackall.

That's the way I understand it as well. I could see him going to the poison adrena. I can't see him switching to the expride line b/c shaman is a long way from "fledgling".

I'm just guessing like everyone else but the few companies that have enough money to pull AM from MB would be Shimano. That would seem like the safest guess. We'll just have to wait and see.

Correct from what I can find. Shimano handles Jackall bait distribution and sales in the US market for them. Jackall JDM and Shimano JDM work together to build rods, but Shimano doesnt own Jackall. They are partners.

AM is so dedicated to using JDM Shimano that I just can't see him switching. Most US companies are reel and rod sponsors and don't allow for just one of the other
