New Steez?
Any word if a new Steez reel is supposed to come out anytime soon? Interested in buying a Steez but if a new one is gonna come out, I will wait.

Doubt it, it would have launched at the Japan fishing show. I'm hoping they don't mess with it too much. Lol.

JW. I don't want to drop money on a Steez EX then have a new one come out soon after.

If they do, it needs to have 3D braking or something better. If something new comes out there are usually leaks on Japanese tackle blogs\ sites a few weeks ahead of time.
Re: New Steez?
If they come out with a t-wing steez they'll never see me spending my money on it. Hopefully they keep it how it is.

LOL. I'm hoping for a mg frame with SV spool and 3d controls. No T-wing or zaion!!fishingandfords wrote:They will change the color of the parts and charge $800

That would be nice if the integrated the T3 hood IF they were gonna make it with a TWS. Idk about issues people had with the hood but I like it. Its better than the "permanently opened" TWS like the Tatula and Zillion TWS.

You know I'm sure I'm the only one, but I wouldn't mind an aluminum version with slightly beefier gears for flipping and/or a low speed more powerful one for deep cranking. A steez for every job

The cranking one would be nice. Butter smooth sub-6.0 ratio in left. Harder and harder to come across these days.trent_s wrote:x2cndbasshunter wrote:LOL. With the added weight of the flipping version would defeat the purpose of the Steez. A decent, solid reel with a shallow spool stock would be sweet for flipping. It doesnt have to be a dainty, ported finesse spool, just a easier starting spool with enough capacity to flip and other short line situations.
