Comparable setup

Post by dinosorcerer » Wed Aug 05, 2015 1:47 pm

So recently I got a poison adrena w/chronarch ci4+ loved it, got evoluzion mephisto w/conquest 2015 hg super smooth. Even with these setup I feel unsatisfied, I want more. What do you guys use that you absolutely adore? How's Poison ultima compared to the evoluzion series?

My brother is already getting that, I know it'll sound weird but I like to get something different from what my fishing mates get.

If your brother is getting an ARMS Complete and Monoblock combo, consider getting an ARMS Super Leggera and pair it with another high end Megabass reel of some sort, depending on which ASL model you select. The ARMS Super Leggera blank, finish, and overall look is significantly different than the ARMS Complete series...

I have a few Ultimas, can't say enough good things. I put them up there with the nicest rods I own easily. I also own a number of Evoluzion rods. They're nice, but in my eyes there's something about the Ultima that I can't put my finger on that puts it SLIGHTLY ahead.... Just my 0.02

I have the 72H and the 70MH. Both are amazing, I am also going to get the 70M when some cash frees up in the future. I just love the rods. For a do it all rod, the 70MH is hard to beat.

Where did you find the 70MH? Being it 2 piece rods, did it ever bother you? What did you pair it up with? =]
