Looks like the Antares DC may not have a cast control cap. Wonder how that will work with heavier baits? I've never used a DC reel however was going to try this year. The no cap thing is freaking me out though

I'm actively using my 2 calais DC... Curiously is killing me in thinking whether or not this will be worth replacing my two existing, or just adding the new Antares DC to the mix. I speculate that the 4x8 DC system is identical, just other enhancements.

It's definitely smoother with less effort to cast than my Excense. The tension knob thing I'm getting used to. I'd like to know how it compares with the old.
