I voted the bumblebee yellow because it just so rare to see that color on a quality reel. The only
other reel I can think of with that color scheme is Skeet's Wright & Mcgill gear, so... yeah.

I remember back in the early 90s buying an old school gl2 blank because of the navy blue matte finish and getting it wrapped in maize. Those were better times back then. We used to beat Ohio st on the regular. Okay I'm sad now.

Im pretty excited M is gonna play Wiscy this year... not so excited about playing in Camp Randall though. Of all the annual BIG10 football games lost to realignment (thanks, Delaney...), its probably this one. So I'm thinking based on the topic at hand, you're a fan of the airy red pixy?

I honestly have never owned the heralded red Pixy...just the yellow and PX68L.

The yellow is paired with a LTB drop shot stick for tossing Ned rigs, and the PX68L is paired with a NRX802C...it's a shakey head machine.

I used to have the airy red... I really liked the silver spool and matte red finish, but I ended up selling it. I don't think I'll ever part with the yellow one. You shouldn't either. You can represent the Victors on each of your fishing trips... haha

granted you are the pixy expert, in your opinion, do any of
the older pixy models (excluding PX68/ type R...) differ
performance wise? I know most say they are pretty much
the same, but wanted to see if you had a different perspective?
