question on alphas ito clear side plate?

does anyone know if the 2005 alphas ito clear side plate will fit into other alphas...such as the alphas r or the alphas f? im just wondering cause i love the unique clear side plate but figured the metal finish on the ito will be a pain to clean...so my plan is to get a alphas r or f and just switch it with a clear side plate that way i dont have to polish the outside haha hopefully it does so i can get best of both reels.
