Trying to find F3-69X7 Super Eiger NOT 2015 model

Post by Rusty McFot » Tue May 03, 2016 7:05 am

Hi All,

I'm trying to desperately find a Destroyer F3-69X7 original, not the 2015 model.

I would put it in the classifieds section but don't have the 100 posts yet.

Was hoping anyone here might know where I can get one shipped to Australia, or if anyone has one squirrelled away with the rest of their collections.

I would prefer it new, but mint used is ok too, with rod sock and tags

Thanks

Yeah I know. That's why I have had to resort to TT.

My usual go to places and Rakuten are all sold out.

Maybe someone will have one they're willing to part with... Maybe.

It's starting to sound more and more like a unicorn.

I've been looking for the same rod as well, hasn't been fruitful! Good luck!

Great, more competition.

I have a secret weapon in Japan at the moment so I'm hoping he can come through for me. [-o<

I haven't been desperately searching but I do kind of keep an eye out for that rod. What are the differences between the original version and the 2015?

OCD.

I have 3 other X7s from the original run.

There are some minor aesthetic differences and the reel seat is different. I have the original model, fished the new model. The blanks are identical. Great rod indeed, best of luck with the search guys!

Lol cross me off your list. After I broke mine I sent it out to Otterod to have a NFC blank put on the handle. Handle assembly just looked too nice for me to just throw away. The one on buyee, expect to add a lot of extra money on fees and shipping.

I can appreciate that. I have the Super Eiger from the 2015 run and it is a super rod.
