I think all three megabass rods I own are must have. I like a stouter rod than most, the unique length-power-taper combinations have suited my style of fishing well.

2016 JDM Faust I use it as a frog/punch rod. Its incredibly light and well balanced for a 7'3"XH stick.

2016 JDM Super Deystroyer After getting the Faust I felt like I needed another rod from that line up. I wasn't as initially impressed with this rod as I was with the Faust but once I got it on the water I quickly grew to love it. I use it for jigs and Texas rigs. When bass get finicky I'll go down to 3/16oz with it, it has to power to quickly bust them and taper to play them.

F5.5 68xti Diablo Evoluzion I know they make specific 110 rods now, I just find it hard to believe there is a better one than my diablo. I caught a ton of 110 fish this fall, I didn't lose 1 bass, I don't believe I even missed 1 with it.

If you can find it the best rod megabass ever built to me is the original Elseil from 10 plus years ago. Best rod I ever fished.

The Carbon Head Hien. That stick is incredible.

I have been using the XX Braillist, Valdivia, Record Breaker and Levante EMTF. The Valdivia is a baaaaad dude.

There are a bunch of great new rods. I've played around with the Carbon Head Lilypad Survivor and the Super Cyclone at the shop but haven't fished them yet - both are calling my name though

Some of my favorites from the Destroyer USA line...
FMJ - outstanding dedicated jig/plastics rod.
Javelin - excellent utility rod - 6XD to a Senko, highly versatile.
Otomat - treble hook moving bait special, excellent addition to the line up
Flyssa - loads of fun with crappie and gills but also a great all around finesse bass rod

JDM Destroyer
Carbon Head Hein - this rod has the "it" factor indeed
Carbon Head Wild Bunch - so far, this is proving to be an ideal heavier powered all purpose rod with impressive sensitivity

2018 Evoluzion F5.5-72ti Diablo Type L - a work of art and a joy to fish!

After reading through this thread I didn’t see some of the rods I thought would be on here like the GAMBLER or the Frog Game special. I really wish that they would bring it back. There may be rods suitable to frog with especially since I’m at the post office mailing off my Daiwa XBD rod( I’ve been crying constantly for the last 12 hours but I’m glad I was able to get proof of purchase) but the no longer produced FGS would have been a secondary frog rod for me.

But I did see the X7 EMTF which I love and is my introduction to a two piece rod. I try to get the X7 line of rods when possible.
They have that “IT” factor and so I love the super rakkai rod as well although only one person mentioned it.

Of course the power versatile is a great rod and has been a love of mine. I try not to get Rods that over lap and no matter what you do the PV will provide coverage in multiple areas. It was my first MB rod

The FMJ has become one of my favorite rods, if not my favorite. I was never a big jig/t-rig fisherman before getting this rod but now I find it very enjoyable. Once you pick it up it's hard to put down. I paired it with a Steez A TW on the recommendation of this forum and it's perfectly balanced.

Anyone have more info on the valdivia? I know it's meant for frogging but is it suitable for any other techniques?

I love the Valdivia! It bombs frogs and the tip is very soft letting the fish get the bait before applying backbone. I also use it for jigs when braid is required. It is the only bass setup I run with braid. If it had FC on it, it would be a nice all purpose single hook stick. It pairs nicely with the FMJ for applications where a little more length is desired.

TT did a nice write up too.
