Reel for World Shaula 1702R-2

I am thinking about getting a World Shaula 1702R-2, seems like a MH range, for lipless crankbait and mid depth cranks not sure what other lures.

Can anyone recommend a nice reel to match? I was thinking about 2014 Conquest with ZPI NRC spool, but scared of the shallower spool.

Hrm..., I love it on my Luxxe b70h for jigging etc, iono about cranking.

I love my 3 World Shaula.

Because the weight distribution is pretty good on these rods, you can put just about any small to medium reel on it and it will balance just fine. I often put an OG Zillion or a 15' Met DC on my 1702.

1702R-2 handles just about anything small to medium that I use - from 1/4 oz paddle tail swimbait (e.g. 4" easy shiner) to 1 oz glide bait (e.g. Evergreen Seadrive).

1653R-2 for mostly jerkbaits and medium topwater, e.g. DUO Realis Jerkbait 100, 110 and 120, Bomber 15A, LC Pointer 100, LC Sammy 115 and Gunfish 115 & 130, Rebel Jumpin' Minnow, etc. It is as versatile for medium and heavy baits as the 1702R-2 for light and medium, I just perfer to use it for these lures.

1604SS-2 for similar styled of baits as 1653R-2, just bigger and heavier, matched with much heavier line (i.e. PE4)

Avail makes a deeper spool for the 100 sized conquest. It is still lighter than stock but holds more line.
