Is Japan lure shop legit? Anyone have a clue about how fast they ship?

They are legit and the shipping is fast. Japan to New York usually gets here in 3 days.

If you order from them regularly the will give you free gifts. My last reel cam with a shimano bantam rip flash 115 jerkbait as a gift. My previous order came with some DEPS willow blades.

I haven't ordered from there yet, but wouldn't hesitate to. Great reputation and it seems that they always have really competitive prices.

i have bought several reels from them and just ordered the 6.2:1 Scorpion today. The reels get here faster than a tackle warehouse order every time.

My favorite Japan shop. Ships lightning fast and yes, they sometimes include free gifts!

my last two reel orders came with Daiwa lipless cranks.

I usually check Digitaka first because they have free shipping but they are usually sold out before other stores.

Japan Angler and Japan Lure Shop usually have the same prices but Japan Lure ships fast and has the cool volcano homepage ;)

Japan Tackle has higher prices normally but they have a good inventory of spools.

Just wondering, how much does JLS charge for shipping a reel? I might give them a try.
I've only used Digitaka due to their free shipping and cheaper price so far.

depends on the item
go on their site and check it out
prices are a little higher than Digitaka but usually have better stock on hand(as most of us have said)
they ship EMS and comes in in a few days

I just put a Met DC in the cart and used the estimate shipping tool on the website and it gave me a quote of $17.04. I live in the Midwest...my guess is $15-20 to most states.

Thanks! For some reason, I thought I had to estimate the shipping price based on weight. I might have gotten confused with Plat.
