does anyone know if the rod weights are posted anywhere? I swear the Destruction feels like a MH rod. Not sure if its because of total weight or just because of how well it balances.
If sensitivity is on par with GLX, ill have to get the Chimaera.

158g or 5.57oz for the destruction

143g or 5.04oz for the chimaera

yep, def weighs at least 158g. feels way lighter than my NRX 873 although it is not.

the plan is small hard swimbaits on the destruction and light topwater and small cranks on the rattle viper.

BCR803 on the left for handle size reference.

And order a stick of your choice up. More to come once i get water time with it. Between that and a recent acquisition of 16' Hein I feel my light game is bolstered up nicely!

A few pictures. Chronarch will morph once, purple avail BFS spool and accent pieces come in from HHS, chrome avail handle as well. Balance is right on the money just shy behind reel locking nut. Should be sweet for lighter cranks and TW, going to go DS first then keitech guard spin jigs 5/32oz with Missle drop craw trailer, 3 inch senko and ned rig and 1/4 oz spoons. Probably go with 6lb sniper. Get back to you cats once she is fully ready for water time and set up. Pretty bland pictures but enjoy O:)

Finished color scheme i believe :big grin: .....internals that have been done already (Air HD spool Bearings, Avail Microcast Honeycomb Spool ALD0936RR, 7.0 OE gears from 09' Aldebaran including updgrade carbon drag washers). The BT fishes nice so far. Really like it with 1/8oz tungsten t rig set up, smallie beaver, bead and 1/0 wide gap. I also fished it with mini king spinner baits @ 1/8oz with 3 inch sizmic grubs. Felt a ever so subtle vibe from that lure set up, very subtle. So far so good, with casting distance. I really feel like the t rig set up had was money. Next will try nice little neko rig and DS rigs and then on to treble style lures in the 1/4 to 5/16 oz range (in mind will be shad raps, bagley small fry). Enjoy the pics.

That reel with the mismatched color parts makes me want to do a Gundam themed BFS build. This also also enables me to do a green Zeon themed build to a Daiwa. It's been a hard winter.

Like I stated in the previous blurbs that she is a nice rod. The other day I finally got to get the Shad raps on along with bagley small Frys on the water. Now that is where the rod really shined for me between them and the t rig set up i spoke of previously about . Next I will try 3-inch senkos, some sort of Neko rig and a light C rig setup. I will try drop shot as well although I feel like my 16' hien is it better drop shot rod based on feeling alone but we'll see. So far I have to say I'm pretty pleased with this rod given the price point. I do like the fact that it is a very much multi-purpose light rod. I feel like it's sensitive enough for sure and the build is Megabass quality. I will also take it for spooning for deeper water fish to see how she does in that situation. I imagine she will be pretty awesome with the tip, action and the lightness of the overall rod, should lend itself to that technique pretty well.

Anybody want to take a stab at which model would be closest to the Orochi XX Spinnerbait Special in terms of speed and power? I'd actually like something with a little less power and a little slower / softer taper. Maybe the Black Elseil? I'm assuming the Super Orochi would be close, or perhaps more stout and powerful

My guess would be this http://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_pa ... s_id=10654. Although I don't own one. Could be similar but spec wise it is fast not a med/fast like the XX SBS. Btw big thanks to GW and TTT for the Hein :big grin:
