Why is this in the enthusiast section. Tatula is mainstream.

Being an imported reel to some markets I couldn't find a user & mainstream tackle section.

New Z2020 is in this same section field so what's the difference between the two, how do you distinguish an enthusiast reel vs a mainstream reel?

One goes in the cupboard one ones used?

Just picked up 2 Tatula Sv TW this past weekend at a sport show!!! I picked up a 6.3 and a 8.1 for $300... i'm gonna pair these up to a 6 10 M/F Tatula rod... gonna try it out and see if i like it (I'm a Shimano guy) and see what the hype is all about...

just by handling this reel, i can say is.. the line capacity is small, kinda like my Shimano Aldebaran (Shallow Spool).. The SV spool has a shaft, NO free floating spool.. also looks like its the same at the CT but with the SV spool..

Is the body the same size and shape as the Zillion SV TW?

The new fuego, tatula ct, tatula ct-r, tatula ct sv, and zillion tw sv are all the same frame.

I think the Tatula SV and Zillion SV share many similarities and I wonder is the $100 price jump worth it. Jun on Japan Tackle says the Zillion SV TW is the best casting overall Daiwa reel to date (in his comments at the bottom).

Probably a different braking profile. Spools on Daiwas arent the only thing that makes up the casting ability. Magnets have a big part of it.

I would pay a 100 bucks more for the Zillion because it does not have the porting on the thumb rest. My thumb hates those uncomfortable holes. The ports on the SV 103 is the reason why I don't one.

Not the same TT i am used to from 10 years ago. The Enthusiasts would have had this post moved to the reels section.

I got a Tatula SV and I am a little bit confused about the strong breaking profile, because it doesn't spin very good.

On step zero, one and two of the magdial the spool spins very good (and the SV seems not to engage), but with a higher step of the magdial (at least at step 6) the SV engage very early and the spin of the spool is extremly short (only for a few seconds). At step 20 of the magdial the spool runs only for two seconds and it spins like I have tightened up the spool tension knob very strong.

Is this normal?
