What is the difference between these two reels that are essentially in the same price range? How doe they compare to a Stella? Thanks!

X2 on the question. Been looking at both. Would love to know from folks with experience with these.

Had all of them; Stella imho is an overall stronger, tighter feeling reel. Newer Exist/Steez are plastic zaion and I personally would never spend that kind of money on non-metal.

They are lighter, which is a factor to consider as well. Daiwa lovers give high praise to both reels so probably can't go wrong really.

Good luck.

The Exist and Steez are magnesium body with Zaion rotor.

Not the current models, right? Virtually certain they are Zaion body's for last 5-6 years or so? If not, I would own them both right now. They both said Zaion body on the box and flexed like crazy at the reel stem (compared to metal.)

Not arguing just clarifying......

Correction: The Steez EX is all around Zaion.
According to Japan Tackle the 15 Exist is magnesium body w/ Zaion rotor, yet TW state that's it is too full Zaion.
My 15 Exist box just says, "Zaion Air rotor".
My apologies.

So the Exist is the better reel of the two?

I believe the Steez is the US variant of the Exist.

Hmm...TW list both reels...as does Cabela's and the Steez is more $$!
