The reel is too large for bass fishing imo..... Its to heavy..........

The original Ryoga Shrapnel would be my choice for drop shotting deep water structure........... :whistle:

I need at least 400 yards of 8lb for dropshotting so I'm not sure if the Ryoga will be good for that...

I wonder if the gear set is backwards compatible with the previous Ryoga. I've got to LINs that could use faster ratios.

I wonder if the body is larger for the 1520 models. Or maybe they're just one size but one has a bigger (36mm?) and deeper spool?
