Daiwa Ryoga SV shl
Hi guys I’ve just purchased the Daiwa Ryoga SV-shl has anyone actually fished this reel? If so what were your thoughts on it’s performance? I know the reel was designed for only the Malaysian market just looking for pros and cons of it? Thanks

Re: Daiwa Ryoga SV shl
I'm sure you will enjoy it
Comes with beefed up gear set and a slight subsequent weight increase( gear box housing is wider than original ryoga)
I've fished the centrifugal version, great reel I'm sure the mag brake and sv spool will add to the experience
New ryoga is however rather tempting

Happiness is a sore thumb

Just like the previous Ryoga, it is a great little tank of a reel. 7.1:1 ratio, what is there not to like?

I know I was so tempted to get the 18 Ryoga I just love the black and red over the all black and I’m using it for top water applications so I liked that it’s a 7.1 thanks for your reply africanbass
Re: Daiwa Ryoga SV shl
I will have my right hand 18 Ryoga 5:4 this coming Thursday ....
The right hand retriever is very very slow in our market here in Malaysia.
Just hope it works well with my GRods crankbait rod
Regards,
WW
