I have the original Z and love it, so no doubt this one is a winner too. Just not sure I need a reel this fast for my application...

Deps definitely have the knack of perfectly uglifying a reel! I'm sure it will fish well, but you'd need a blindfold. Love how the reds aren't even the same colour!

I don't know, the original "Deps Zillion" is one of the coolest looking customized reels I've seen out of any factory. Their take on the Z models, not so much  I couldn't bring myself to order one of the new red Z's, but I really wanted to do so...

It has clearly been in an accident and poorly repaired. The paint is a dead giveaway. Check the car fax.

I know several owners both past and present. I couldn't bring myself to buy one, but in almost every case, those who actually used the reel had significant paint issues with them. Performance was reported as great as with any of the Z reels however. Some folks don't care about big paint chips, perfectly understandable...

Are you referring to the Black Limited? That has a serious paint chipping issue but I have not heard or seen any reported for the Deps Limited.

I've had 5 Zs, still have 4 of them, one was stolen. I have a DEPS, a Z200 and two LTDs. The DEPS is a beast with massive line recovery. You just have to learn to slow down.
