I just don't what spool to go with 1012 or 1016
The 8.1:1 is brass correct?

I will be using 20lb braid, light lures up to 1/2 oz

Having more than you need is better than needing more than you have.
At least that’s what I was thinking when I brought my last reel.

for 20lb braid go the 1012 spool as more than enough capacity and the ability to handle lighter weights.
There is no Brass Gears in any of the current Steez TW lineups . All Steez tw A and SV reels use G1 alloy gears.

This might be a good opportunity to give one a shot. I did ask to see if selecting the 8,1:1 ratio if it still has the purple accents on the reel. We will see what Plat says.

The semi order reels just have the silver/gun metal engine plate on them with the relevant coloured handle retainer.
