That’s looks damn nice. I’ll bet it performs as good as it looks.

Has anyone here use/used the Wakasaki special spool? There's no information about this thing on the whole interweb :o

How does it perform? In the pictures i have seen, there is no brakes.

Is the narrow spool from the jigging Pixy variant? If so it is not it meant to be cast and would perform poorly for bass use.

I've one in my pixy spool collection :)

You can't use it for bass, it's a wakasagi fishing spool.
It's a sort of vertical jigging (no brakes on the spool) with tiny ice rods

If I ever got into ice fishing that is what I would do. Enthusiast tier ice fishing rig. Does Megabass male ice fishing rods?

If there were ever display case worthy spools, this one and the Pixy jigging spool are it! I'd love to use one of my Pixy's for ice fishing, but all the ice fishing around here is in salt water...

Find yourself a slant bridge and have a builder cut the middle out of it and graft the tip into the handle. Boom! Megabass ice rod! :big grin: :D
