Daiwa Spool Case
Daiwa Spool Case
Does anyone know where can I purchase spool containers for my 34mm bait casting spools? I'd like to find some similar to what some aftermarket spools are packaged in, like the RCS stuff.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Insanely high prices for a piece of plastic that you get for free when you purchase a spool. (to the sellers). Can you say HIGHWAY ROBBERY! WOW!BassFisher83 wrote:https://www.hedgehog-studio.co.jp/product-list/284

You can get them cheap on Aliexpress.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Thank you. I have been searching for the spool cases, but cannot find them. Perhaps they are no longer there or I am using the wrong search terms/words.hoohoorjoo wrote:When i have a moment, I will search them out.Dalleinf wrote:Link please (please please)hoohoorjoo wrote:You can get them cheap on Aliexpress.
I agree with tditox4 on the Hedgehog prics - robbery. Atm. I using old Rays spool cardboard boxes, Rays and SLP/RCS plastic cases, Momos cases, used spice and pill boxes etc. for my spools...would love just having the see-through plastic case variety.
Re: Daiwa Spool Case
I looked for them a year or so ago on AliExpress and didnt find much. That style of plastic screw case is also used to store expensive drillbits and such, so an industrial supply house might be a place to look. Other online have suggested using old pill bottles.
Re: Daiwa Spool Case
I use a pill bottle. One of the shorter and wider bottles. I wrap the spool in bubble wrap and tuck the ends over to cover the spool shaft ends so that it doesn't rattle around in the bottle.
Re: Daiwa Spool Case
When you order something for $10+ from this guy on aliexpress, you can ask him to add a spool case for free as a gift. I purchased a Ray's Sudio spool, asked for three empty spool cases and got em for free as a bonus.

Re: Daiwa Spool Case
I have previously bought 3 of them from Hedgehog studios. For me price was correct because it's just a law of supply and demand. I didn't found other sources than Hedgehog studios. I only had think would the price be too high. Decision was price is worth more than taking risk of dropping the spool to floor and get a damage to it. Because if that would happen, I must drink 1 l of 80% vodka to get forget what happened. But still I would remember it on hangover. And moreover to that, 1 l of 80% vodka costs in Estonia same amount than 3 spool cases cost in Hedgehog studio's. And that style of spool case Hedgehog is just perfect in my opinion.

Another recommendation for these - I bought a half doz from them, had them in 3 days. Perfect fit for low profile baitcasting spools, and clear not opaque so easy to see the contents. Thanks WillyW!willyw wrote:Try these :
