It's a 30mm spool and no it will not swap into the current steez tw sv. The steez ct is smaller and the spool is not only smaller in diameter but also more narrow.

I went with the 8.1:1. It will be used mostly for small plastics. I have a Steez SV TW 1012 in 8.1:1 and it works fine with jerkbaits.

Good move. With such a small O.D. spool, the 8 gear ratio probably wont take up as much line as a typical 7 gear reel. The IPT on the 6.3 is probably in the cranking range, 22-25 IPT is what Im thinking.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I've ordered 8.1....this ratio seems to be more popular too since it's out of stock at few jdm websites, only 6.3 is in stock

I was also very curious about the IPT and the box for the 8.1 says 29.9".

The 6.3 says 23.2" IPT.

Daiwa claims 59cm or 23.22" for the 6.3 ratio and 76cm or 29.92" for the 8.1 ratio

I'm awaiting my steez ct to get here but I have a couple hours on an alphas ct which is supposed to have the same spool. Casts super flat, accurate, and surprisingly far for that little spool. There is a real chance to strip the spool completely with an aerodynamic lure if your using over 8lb diameter line. The most noticeable thing of the ct spool to me is the startup speed is so quick making for very accurate flat casts. Even simple pitches take off like no line is attached to the lure. Its a very fun spool.

Pretty sweet, and pretty small. Should go well on the Oltre 6'7 M. Take her for a test run in the AM.

Very nice! Can you weigh the spool? The alphas ct is 9.4g with bearing.

Reel weighed 151 grams and spool weighed 9.0 grams. It's a Target digital scale though...

Awesome, sounds like the spool may be a tad lighter. I'll weigh mine once it gets here to confirm on the same scale. Reel looks pretty small as well but you may have a huge hand?
