Daiwa RCS knobs

Post by lifeofRiley » Sat Feb 16, 2019 10:40 pm

I was looking at these on flea bay, and wondering if they usually come just one knob per pack or two?

Thx, I've never ordered them before.

The price effectively doubled a few years back. They used to come in packs of two.

I recently purchased Megabass knobs, which came in a pack of two and turned out considerably cheaper than similar rcs knobs.

I hate these more recent paddle style handles. Very uncomfortable.

Same here. I replace all my paddle knobs with smooth black knobs, the stock ones from the OG Steez and Alphas.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Same here, don't even like the Zillion Type R knobs that are so popular.

I am no fan of the paddle style knobs either, but I dislike the Ito metal knobs on the my Megabass Monoblock Grigio Stone even more... most uncomfy and slippery knob ever.

I do have 2 pair of the Z200 knobs, one pair on a Steez EX and one pair on a Zillion SV TW. I replaced the chrome knob caps with the black caps from a Tatula, though. They work well enough, but they are a little larger than the original I-shaped Daiwa knobs.

Another Megabass Cork user - have put them on pretty much all my Steez that came with paddles. WTF Daiwa was thinking there is beyond me. I guess somebody likes paddles since they are putting them on pretty much everything now :(.

I also put RCS knobs on my Steez A. The paddles are just uncomfortable. Digitaka sent me a promo code in the fall for 20,000 yen which made it an almost free upgrade.
