I slipped while wading last year and fell on a big flat rock landing directly on my ass. Felt like someone had smacked my bottom with a 2x4. I sure wish I had been wearing my Hip guard GM-3615 that day.

For realz. The Tatula is Daiwa's pollution. Wish they made something like the Bantam. Quality solid little reel that is also made in japan, and not too expensive. Their insane focus on Tats is annoying. Never had a Tat. Will never have a Tat unless there's one that is below 6,5oz and made in japan, which ain't happening.
+1 Couldn't agree more. Z1016 would be awesome. Or Aluminium CT Steez.

It's very annoying that even Zillion moved to Thailand..

I'd love to see a Z1016 or an aluminum Steez CT as well... Regarding Zillion and Thailand manufacture, I've fished high end Daiwa for a long time. Zillion SV TW is an impressive reel in terms of performance and build quality regardless the country of manufacture.

Regarding the Tatula line, the Tatula SV TW and now the new Tatula Elite models are excellent quality, high performance reels at their price points. The standard Tatula rods and the Tatula Elites, though I'm not a fan of the aesthetics of the Elites, are also excellent performing rods at a fantastic value. I understand the zealous promotion of the "Tatula" name, logo, etc. from a marketing perspective, so I don't have issues with their use or over use as some would say, of what has become a hugely successful line of products.

Very interesting, any information about spool weight?

Since it's named Air, I assume it has a movable Air inductor.
