If it's orange like the Sol, I'm buying. I ABSOLUTELY love the color! Wish the Alphas had it :(

Then why not just buy a Sol and do some of your famous parts swapping?

I can't believe the Dark Lord is actually talking me into a domestic reel purchase!

Yea...a totally tricked out Sol sounds excellent for my GL CR722 GLX.
And, best of all, it's orange. 8-)

Cal, stop picking on me  My Alphas 103 will suffice considering all of the reels in the Alphas line have no Micro-click drag :( I want my next baitcaster to be equipped with one.

Splash, thanks for the info., I'll check out the price. :D

Mr. Ito is working on a millionaire based reel, like the one Jun had on his site when the show was going on. I saw it on a Japanese blog. I'm not considering it too attractive!

Nautilus,

Welcome to the forum... just FYI, the Alphas Ito Ai debuted about a year after the standard Alphas.

Mhood,

I'd go for that Sol.. get a forged handle (TDZ) to replace the stock stamped metal handle or a carbon one (my preference), some bearings in the knobs, SIC Bearings, a gold I'ZE spool and boy... it'd be pretty darn sweet.

J4K,

If the Alphas/Sol reels had a clicking drag and cast control cap...

I'm not sure anyone really answered the question. I mean that's one of the first things I thought of when I first learned about the Steez but is it gonna happen? I hope so though, imagine how much it would weigh. I think that it would have a sick color scheme too. If it did happen though it probably wouldn't be for a while, they still gotta put out that round Ito(P200-XR).
