What is the total weight of the largest rig, largest heads, largest baits that you'll throw? Same question for the smallest. Some guys throw really big, heavy set ups 4 oz plus, but some other guys won't ever exceed 2 oz. total weight. There are a bunch of really nice high end rods that will handle these rigs...

Gary I will throw diff weights. Is there a best all purpose type. I've got several Megabass and Evergreen and Nrx. You mentioned the Memphisto. You talking about the c40 I bought from you guys?

Yes, the Mephisto works well up to about 2oz total weight. Other than the short handle, the Power Versatile is fantastic for a little heavier rigs.

Power Versatile is all you’ll ever need. It has the backbone to cast yet parabolic enough not to rip out hooks, thin or medium gauge.

You're welcome! My only complaint about the Power Versatile as an umbrella rig rod is the short handle. It makes it a little tougher to really push a hard two handed cast, but the blank loads up so perfectly, I think it balances out. I've been throwing the Hog Farmer BFL rig with 1/8 oz heads on the new F6-72X Carbon Head Wild Bunch paired with one of the Catalina TW reels on sale at The Tackle Trap and it has been excellent.

Power Versatile paired with a Z2020, and you will cast those rigs with ease.

I forgot to mention that I keep a Z200HL on my PV, that certainly does help

I've got my 2020 on a original white python slant bridge. May take it off and put on the pv. Thanks again you guys are the best.

I’m partial to the NRX916 but if the rigs are lighter I’d even go to a EG Super Stallion.

I do not fish A-rigs often, but when I have the Super Red Demon has done this very well for me. 8-)
