I've long wanted something between the 12 lb and extremely thick 15 lb versions of hybrid. 12lb hasn't let me down but I want to just a bit more diameter...Looking at the duel website the carbonylon seems to have similar construction with many of the same features, while also having the the exact diameter I've long wanted..
The only difference I can see based off the literature is hybrid is touted as being water resistant, while carbonylon doesn't say that specifically but the picture shows it beading up on the outside of the line, just like hybrid.
Anyone else ever use the carbonylon mainline or have any useful info?
