Evergreen Rod First timer

Post by goldrod » Sat Jan 18, 2020 11:14 am

I recently acquired an Evergreen SS Rod.
I am NOt a fan of two piece rods but this one is like my X7 Aaron Martens Megabass rod and once I put it together I never really thought about it and it doesn't pop out so. I would say thats a plus on me coming out of my comfort zone a little. So if your like me and you want to give a two piece a shot but your on the fence, dont fear its all good you won't notice a thing.

When I buy rods I often ask myself, how does this rod differ from the other rod you just got? This particular rod does differ and here's a picture of me with it in hand.

Thanks Gentlemen

I went pond hopping to today and I was trying to establish an idea of its strengths and areas of concern for me. I was thinking about a bottom contact shootout between it and the X7, ZBone , Steez bottom contact etc.
But I think that may be best suited for Mr. Cal or any of his staff here.

You guys enjoy I will been touch and go for a while until I can get a concrete schedule for the next few weeks

Beautiful pairing, the superstallions are amazing rods. You have to hold one to know how special it is, the refinement, the balance and POWA! Sad that I sold my SS black ](*,)
