Been waiting seemingly forever for a new 100DC. The standard 100 and the 200DC are absolutely two of my favorite reels of all time. Can’t really believe Christmas is finally coming March 2020.

Anybody pulled the trigger yet?

I am interested in the 101 HG and wondering what people would use it for?

Was planning to use one as a Chatterbait reel (16# Fluro) but might not have enough line capacity for that..

The 201HG is a bit too heavy for my liking.

100 size has plenty of line capacity for 16#.

As for the weight the 100 and 200 only weigh 0.7 oz different. You’d only notice a significant difference in the palming size.

Thanks for the feedback.

Might have a hard look at the 101 HG. ;)
