Interesting. I’ve had the line catch in open wire loops (like on the Loomis rods), but the Fuji keeper, especially flipped down like this, hasn’t been an issue yet.

Put my in front of reel on the bottom. Before I put them on I use electrical tape all-round the blank so I don't nick the blank with a hook.

Silicone tubing under Prox zip tie, behind reel seat for split grips.
