daiwa morethan 19
hey guys those of you that have used this reel is the stock spool ok with it? and what spool have you found to be a great all around spool for this reel. I mostly have shimanos but want to get some daiwas in the mix and this reel has me intrigued a bit.

Re: daiwa morethan 19
I have 2 19' Morethans. In both I am running the spools from the Steez A.
The standard spool is ok if one puts braid (up to 40 #) or does not need a lot of line (i.e. if this is used for pitching g etc).

Re: daiwa morethan 19
I have one spooled with 16# FC and the other with 20#. The Steez A sools hold enough line to bomb cast 16 # and enough to make far enough casts with 20#.

Re: daiwa morethan 19
I have one with #50 PP and it holds plenty of line for me. I was frog fishing and I can't get close to spooling it even bombing it. It holds more than my SV103s and I've frogged with those for 3 years now.
I was throwing a jerkbait on a SV103 spool with #12 floro and it is a superb caster. I love the clicking drag when a smallie is ripping line off with light drag and megabass 110 hooks.
I'm thinking of selling off and pairing down with a fleet of Morethan/Steez As. It is the most pleasurable reel to fish since I held a TD-Z for the first time.
