Put in an order of "obsolete" Stella SW parts from J-a-pan - shipping made on the 11th June and in my feverishly hot little hands today the 15th in Australia.

Seriously quick and awesome service - parts order 100% spot on.

I ordered some goodies from Digitaka on June 8 and the package was delivered to St Louis June 12. That’s faster than I usually get domestic packages lol

It cost me $28 in Yamoto/UPS shipping that they now say is their only option because of Covid, but my Hedgehog Studio parts order just got here to SoCal in four days. It's sad what us enthusiasts will pay! The good thing is UPS just left it on my doorstep. My EMS orders have always required me to be at home for delivery. The post office is close, but they always seem to have trouble finding my EMS shipped orders in the back. What a PITA!

I know your pain all too well. My HH order was sent to my PO box before I realized that once it got to the states in was being delivered by UPS and they don't deliver to post offices. No problem I thought, I'll just place a request for a hold at the local UPS center.

After the 11th day of the request and no tracking details updated, I called customer service and the agent said it was ready to pick up. Got to the pick up point and the rude lady handed me a paper and said "it's there". I look down and see "JP" and said "Japan"??? Next morning called back and the agent said tracking was updated last night its ready for pick up today. Went to get it and the guy at the counter said "it's not ready, it's across the street".

It took three visits just to pick it up.

You don’t know what a certain vendor wanted to charge for a $125.00 order to ship via FedEx.

I ran into this myself. $180 Fed Ex shipping fee for $280 dollars in lures. Needless to say, I went with the wait for EMS option.

i made an order with Jun at japantackle on Mon, Apr 20 at 9:30 PM. after a false start on my part(ordered one knob when i wanted two) he got them on the way, only to have Japan postal service/customs to delay it until an oppurtunew time came. i got the order today. Jun had refunded me long ago, trusting me to let him know if they did show up. they did and i did.
shipping time 2 months, 9 days.

Ordered some lures from Japan off EBay on the 22nd. Shipped DHL and arrived on the 25th. Also ordered a reel from Digitaka in April with no delays. No complaints here

It is really frustrating when my all my orders from japan (ebay included) arrive faster than any US order. I am not sure wtf is going on at TW, but their shipping times are disasterous.
