Shipping times nowadays

It is really frustrating when my all my orders from japan (ebay included) arrive faster than any US order. I am not sure wtf is going on at TW, but their shipping times are disasterous.

The Japanese e-trailers ship one’s order immediately. Out the next day; sometimes same day. Unless you buy the most expensive mailing option with TW; it can take a week or more before it’s actually mailed. Then, tack on the lower priority shipping option durations and there you go—about 2 weeks wait time.

Japan orders are the new prime! Ordered two separate reels on Wednesday and Thursday. Shipped on Friday and arrived Tuesday.

Im beginning to think that my order from mid April is lost at this point. In a bit over a week, it'll be three months since my order was shipped. wtf.

Placed an order with Asian Portal on the 4th July - today being the 8th and no movement...

Hope it gets here on time as its a gift for a mates 50th...

Edit: messaged them to see what's going on... I think it's a little slack...

Placed an order on Saturday. I received it this morning at 10:30 as promised.

I sent an e-mail confirming the receipt of my order, as is my practice. The vendor replied with, paraphrasing, “they will be using FedEx for all of their orders now because it’s cheaper and easier”. Talk about unintended consequences!

i made and recieved an order from asian portal recently. arrival was much quicker that i thought it would be. ordered on june 6. 10 days later, june 16 i had it.

Got my PLAT order yesterday on the 8th of July. Shipped on the 17th of April and arrived on the 8th of July. Never had anywhere near taking this long from Japan.

The problem in my area is Fedex. Different driver can't seem to find my place even tho Fedex has been delivering to me for 20 years with same address I have always had. I have had 2 packages returned to sender in the past 2 weeks. Does no good to talk to customer service. One of the packages was from Asian portal and they tell me the only option they have to ship to U.S. during the covid thing is Fedex. I have a buddy who had Fedex leave a Chronarch and a new 20 Metanium at the entrance to his driveway with his house being about 1/4 mile down that driveway. My buddy happened to find it before some one else did.
I had never had any problem With Fedex until Covid.

on a whim I ordered a Alphas air tw on Asian Portal on 7/17 late Friday. It just landed on my door step about 45mins ago, 7/23.

considering the weekend was lost in the order process (timezones/etc), it came fast for a Pandemic period.
