I just want Magforce 3D in a Morethan PE called a Zillion. Is that too much to ask? Instead we'll get another Tatula based Zillion and it won't have even a Magforce Z spool.

Yes I think. Z2020 is such legendary reel that in some day they will create Z1016. I guess it takes some time, but it will happen in the year 3020, or it might also happen so soon as in the year 2525:

I would love one. The new Daiwa reels outside of the Steez platform are of zero interest to me.

Discontinuing the Pixy and not making the Z1016 are the two things i don't get from Daiwa. I wanted a z1016 for almost as long as the z2020 exists, which i didn't even own until 2 years ago, but knew they were top notch. Thing is, even if they do make one in the near future, it will most likely (almost guaranteed at this point) come with a t-wing and no 3D braking. I don't want any t-wing trash on my reels, the cone shapped line guides are the best in my opinion. I don't find the 3D braking very important anymore, so they could remove it and i wouldn't mind. If the reel is of the standard 1016 size, i would like it to be no more than 6.5oz. Not exactly looking for a reel that is almost 8oz like the Bantam. A 5.5-5.9oz made out of magnesium is what i would like the most, and with proper paint that doesn't chip away in a week.

That would be killer but a morethan is a Steez now though

I’m in the same boat. Even the Zillion 10 didn’t interest me

I’d love one in Megabass flavor with 3D in illusion green

The old TD Zillion was similar to the TD-Z in many ways. A Steez can trickle down to a Zillion with aluminum frame and brass gears. The going rate Morethan is already sub $400. That's already Zillion money based on what they want for that stupid Zillion 10 tatula thing.

If even the Alphas is now made in Thailand, i think we're boned. Wouldn't surprise me if only the Steez and Ryoga remains Made in Japan five years from now.
