The Ray's spools have a thinner inductor and stiffer spring that don't like really light weight baits. The softer spring and thicker inductor of the SV spools will activate the inductor easily. With the Ray's spools it can be difficult to flick the spool and see the inductor extend. You have to run max brake and flick it reall hard and it barely moves. With the SV spools this is not the case. The Ray's spools like heavier UL baits in the 3-5 gram range. They are excellent for that. Any heavier and I'm grabbing a reel with more capacity and any lower and the inductor won't work righ making it very fast.

So to get back on track here for those that forgot to take their Ritalin...

Anything more to add between the 2 spools or anyone interested in a trade of NEW 700 deep for 700s shallow?

Thanks
