After reading the forum for a while about customizing reels I`m starting to get the bug and want modify my alphas. Could anyone suggest a good mail order outlet . I live in Australia and haven`t seen any places here that sell the customised parts. Would I be better off ordering parts from Japan or the US? I have been fishing for over 20 years and only in the last 5 has the craving for more tackle got me.

Jun ( Japantackle ) and Plat have everything to tune up your Alphas.

Daiwa Australia hold stock of the cork knobs and bearings, you should be able to get your local tackle store to order them. As for the ZPI handles etc., you will have to look at someone overseas for that.

thanks for the info . Just haven`t seen anything like that advertised here. Didn`t think to ask the local daiwa dealer.
