Daiwa JDM Steez 105

Post by Johnny A » Tue Jan 05, 2021 11:06 am

It’s been a while since I’ve used but man, oh man, what a sweet reel for pitchin’ jigs. Even on a Daiwa Signature Tatula 7’3”. Spooled with 16lb Sunline and a 1/2 oz O.S.P. Zero One jig and an Uncle Josh pork rind.

You mean the Steez Ltd SV105XH?
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Agreed, they are stupid-smooth reels, but I havent seen one yet without finish issues. I bought one new from Plat and the finish had a couple iffy spots right out of the box. I used it twice and sold it before it got worse.

I had 4 and sold 2. I’ve been fortunate so far.

Are you using the original spool?
