I'll be buying at least one Exist. Maybe 2 if the wife digs it.

With the 22 Exist JDM prices ranging from $731 to $872, I bet the USDM is in the $1000 range

I think folks will be pleasantly surprised with the reduced price gap between JDM and US models. Paired with the Executive Service on US models, it will certainly help domestic sales.

That sounds positive. When I plan on spending this much on a reel, I buy USDM for the warranty and free cleanings that come with it if the price warrants it. Any idea on a US release date?

The Tackle Trap crew will be set up at the Bassmaster Classic in Greenville, SC. I hope to have some interesting new items on display there if everything goes well.

Anyone know which Exist models might be included in the US market lineup? It looks like the Finesse Custom designation has been consolidated back into the standard model sizes but the new power custom was added on the other end of the spectrum.

You know I know.

Unfortunately sometimes I can’t disclose such things. But like I posted weeks ago about pre-ordering three of the new Exists as Gary touched on they aren’t as much as what I’ve seen many post.

Mostly I’m wondering if there’s gonna be 2500 and 3000 size low gear ratios in non-deep spools this time around for the USA models. Personally not a fan of HG/XG or deep spools… and the entire last USA lineup had only those options to pick from. Not the end of the world to buy an aftermarket spool but for these price points it would be nice to have more choices domestically.

It kinda bugs me that neither of them have the gold titanium lip, pretty sure it doesn't do much and the
materials used on both the new models are excellent but I did however like the look of it.

After a long love affair with Stella, I left her in 18 when the first Exist LT came out  Stella always has been and should always be a spectacular reel of course, but after how good 18 Exist LT has been to me, plus Executive Service, I'm all in on new 22 Exist.
I've seen the 22 released to Japan, Russia and Australia but nothing for the U.S. so far.

Will it be released here also? if so do you know when?

Yes it will, and yes I do. There are US specific models where Executive Service applies for new purchases from authorized US dealers. I'd pay attention to information sources around the start of the Bassmaster Classic, which has become a launchpad for new product across the bass fishing industry. The Tackle Trap crew will be on site and excited to have some new products available!
