Does anyone know when they will be released in Japan and what the prices will be?

Lots of information including date of release and the table at the bottom has MSRP pricing for each new model at the far right.

My normal JDM site has it listed at 63,500 JPY. They normally are about 10,000 JPY cheaper than list, just depends on who you get it from I guess.

Is this successor to 21 Luvias Airity or 20 Airity?
Are those 2 separate model lines or different generations of one product?

From what it looks like, they are dumping the Chinese line of Airity since it and the Luvias were basically the same reel. Then they are moving the new Airity to be a successor to the Luvias Airity. Basically an mid-upper level reel below the Exist and to compete directly with the Vanquish. Basically to the Exist what the Vanquish is to the Stella. They may keep the Chinese made Airity in the European market where it is more popular I guess.

I would also add that the 21 Luvias Airity and 23 Airity both seem to fill the space that the Certate held with the 2016 model and older when they still had a 1003 and 2004 model. Wish they would make a 2000 size Certate again.

My 16 Certate 2004CH is still the best looking reel in my eyes \:D/ a little heavy by today's standard but man it feels solid in hand.

Thanks for the link. So it looks like it has the same tech as the 22 Exist and will be released in February. 2500 sizes will be about $500 so roughly $130 cheaper than the Exist. It has me intrigued.

digitaka put the prices up for the airity (56300 yen for a lt2500s) roughly 437 with the current exchange rate, and almost exactly the same as the c2500s vanquish. should be an interesting battle! im usually a daiwa guy, but i bought a '21 excense last year and absolutely love it, but also have a luvias airity and love that so im completely torn! ill be getting one to put on a p5 flyssa at some point!

As an owner of the 2020 airity and about to order the 2023 vanquish this is gonna be an interesting one. I think the vanquish is still the better reel because the new gear ratio in the stella makes it easier still to reel in under load. That plus the slow moving rotor for improved linelay is the selling point for me.
Hopefully the make finesse models without magseal to lessen resistance further.

Received my 23 Airty 2000S-P from digitaka the other day.
Put a megabass hypercork knob on it.
Paired it up with a P5 babyplugging. The color matches up nicely.
Will try it out with small soft plastics.
Too be honest, doesn't feel much different from the 21 Luvius airity.
It is lighter in weight though. On my scale the 23 Airity weighs around 5.2 oz. The old ones weighs around 5.4 oz.
Waiting for the new Vanquish to come out also. I'll order one once they are available.
I'm interested to see how it has improved over the 19 Vanquish.

I received my 23 Airity and took it out this weekend and was thoroughly impressed with the smoothness of the reel. This was the 3000 on a Windbuster. I am running a 21 Luvias Airity on my Baby Plugging and compared them both, I thought the 23 felt noticeably smoother, especially on startup, but it wasn't a huge difference. In fact, I was on the fence about switching out the Luvias with the 23 model, but I think I'll stand pat.
