Daiwa Silver wolf

Post by Bay_Bassin86 » Tue Jul 04, 2023 8:20 pm

Very curious about this reel for tossing 3/8-1/2oz jerkbaits in the salt from the shore using Varivas Avani Seabass max power PE1.0. How is the line capacity on this reel for this application? It caught me eye being that it was designed for thin braid and I’m trying to get more distance being shorebound. Thanks

This reel is specifically for SW fishing with light braid. It should hold around 120 yds/110 meters of your specified line. This doesn't include mono/flouro backing length to stop slippage on the spool, so likely 130 yds including that length.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
