Hi,
I'm currently using an older black Cumara (Reaction Series) 7'6" ML.
This is by far my favorite moving bait rod. I throw small swimbaits, underspins, cranks, spinnerbaits in the 1/4 ounce range and absolutely love it. But I've noticed that Shimano doesn't really have a higher end, parabolic 7'6" ML rod anymore. All their parabolic rods are for heavier baits, which I don't need.
I know with the BFS craze, I may find a rod that isn't really designed for moving baits, but has a more parabolic taper to handle lighter lines. Is there anything in that range (7'6" ML, Medium-Fast) in the JDM world that would fit the bill?

Yamaga Blanks Blue Current III 82B?
I have one and it's a blast with 1/4-3/8 spoons and inline spinners for trout. I also toss 1/8 oz Beetle Spins and small 1/4 oz cranks with it as well as 1/4-3/8 lipless with light braid and leader.

The Phenix classic bfs in 7'4" would be worth a look.

Take a look at the Megabass X7 Western Flip, if you know anyone that will let you try theirs. It may suit your needs.

Daiwa’s Black Label LG. I have the 6’3 ML just for 1/4oz Z1’s and Z2’s. They also have a 7’3 ML. Love mine.
