Brooklyn Bill strikes again...

Post by DanD » Thu Jun 08, 2006 2:50 am

Got my Steez baitcaster from BB yesterday. He left me an email on Sunday nite indicating the reel was in, I sent him money on Monday and 2 days later I got it. As usual, outstanding service. Since I got a little of the Johnny A in me I can't post pics at this time, but the reel is a killer! Plan to take it for a test drive on Saturday. Thanks again BB! Dan

Congrats Dan,

You live a lot closer to Bill than I. He e-mail me my Zillion is on the way. I may have to track down my mail man today. He don't get here untill around 3:30 (that sucks).

My wife will have a chance to play with it first. Whitch means (most of the time), I want one of these.

D.R.,

My wife tolerates my fishing addiction but doesn't fish. When we were dating, she used to go fishing with me all the time. Once she got the ring, that all ended-funny how that works... Good luck with that Zillion. Dan

Dan,

I met my wife fishing. She fished, had a truck, had a job, she was a keeper. That was 35 years ago.

I didn't measure it, but eyeballing it, it looks a bit bigger than the Presso and slightly smaller than my TDZ. Pretty sleek, cool detailing. The bent handle is a little different and seems short but it looks to be the same size as a standard TDZ. Looks like a keeper. Dan

Okay, this is getting to be riduculous...is Johnny A going to enter common usage/slang for a bad photo? As in, "I would like to show you some of what I saw on my vacation but my wife really "Johnny A'ed" those photos?"

What do you mean "going to enter common slang"??? Looks like it already has. Even I know what they're talking about when someone says "JohnnyA'd!!!

I believe it's technically been done in my post above. It's been cached and documented on several threads and forums. I would have to wait until someone tried to use it in that context and then bring suit.
