Vladimir, I am at the hospital right now....just had a baby boy. I will weigh it when I get home tomorrow and post some details.

The rod weighs practically nothing and the reel is only 5 ounces.....I LOVE IT!!!

The rod seems like very light action but small fish will be fun!!

The reel seat appears to be very similar to the Steez rods so I am sold on getting a Steez rod now.....the reel seat is VERY NICE with clicking adjustment and much layered carbon fiber......in the rear split blank too....very nice.

I will get more info for you tomorrow.

Thanks BassPro!! You guys won't believe this (or maybe you will ;) ) but I have the rod here with me at the hospital and got pictures of the baby "holding" the rig within 3 minutes of being born!! :D I guess if the scale can tell me my baby weighs 9 pounds 11 ounces......it can tell me what this rod weighs. :? I'll see if I can get the nurses to weigh it and let yall know....LOL.

Thank you Guys for all the Conrats!!! The family name WILL go on now and the pressure is gone...me being the last of my kind. :)

Boone, I'm gonna use this little rig for sandbass and for fishing over punchbait and soured maze.....that kind of catfishing rarely yeilds anything over 5 pounds. When I REALLY go on the Big Cat Safaris, I use live bait bigger than what most people fish FOR!! :D I use 1-3 pound live carp or huge live shad or, of course, the ole' bluegill. If I tied into a 50# bluecat with this rod, I'd better have the afternoon free is all I can say.

I can't wait to use it though, even a 1# fish is gonna be a blast and with 2# line, anything landed is an accomplishment in itself.

Thanks again guys for all the congrats....they ARE appreciated!!
