I havent had a chance to test it out yet. Cal would be the one to ask regarding ZPI spools and TDZ reels.skeeterboy77 wrote:Nice how do you like the spool? Im thinkin about some for my TDZs. I know im sure its overkill but what the heck.
Thanks D.R
Re: New Reel
For the Standard TD-Z, the ZPI spools might be worth the investment. They offer a slight pitching performance increase on the supertuned TD-Z's but sidearm and overhead casting performance is unaffected. If you do go forward with the upgrade, make sure you get one that includes the SiC bearings.
Otherwise, they are unmatched for bling effect
The difference on Shimano reels (Antares/Calais & Calcutta/Conquest 100/101) is a bit more noticeable.

Re: New Reel
Ah ok. Im using my red TDZ for worming and flipping and thats why I wondered if it makes a difference. I wish they made one for the conquest 51 or the avail one.
