fishing today

Post by woodman6035 » Fri Aug 04, 2006 4:47 pm

We had a cold front come through last night and was a very pleasant 64 degrees this morning. The bad thing was that the barometer was rising and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We started at first light and caught almost all the fish in the first hour. Total fish caught was 13 with only a couple of dinks, but no real big ones. The pix is the biggest caught...a 3lb. 2ozer.

Yeah... it's sweet None of my fishing buddies could go with me so I ended up having to take my ex-wife. I gave her an old quantum to use and she got a bad backlash about 1/4 of the way down making it hard to get long casts. I let her try the chronarch and never got it back...lol :?

Nice fish Wood. I have the same problem with my wife and my rods. I carry 2 of each type rod on my boat (for her or guest). She has an arsonal of fishing toys and still uses mine.
