recent SC redfish catches

Post by Redfisher18 » Mon Jun 25, 2007 12:09 pm

Here a couple of pics of a trip 2 weeks ago to the SC coast. Caught reds with 1/8 oz jighead and 2" gulp shrimp. Weighed in at 16lbs, which is very big for an inshore red in SC this time of the year. He was ripping drag off of the stella/Kistler M LTA combo.

I use an alpha all the time. Great inshore saltwater rig for light baits. The fish above was caught with a 2500 stella FA.

Sweet, how's the fight with the alphas? I would love to live in an area where fishing for a variety of inshore saltwater species is possible. Red Fish, Snook and small tarpon oh my... :D

Awesome. Nothing like catching a redfish in a foot of water. They rip drag.
