Beauty and the Beast

Check out the latest JDM delivery. Be forewarned as some may find the pictures offensive.

Another ZDV100HL finds a stateside home. In the sun, the rod blank is the exact color of the reel =))))

Let's face it - that cork handle looks like something from Megabass :D

A friend of mine once invited me to go fishing from a beach in Israel. I didn't have a long casting rod at that moment and he offered me to lend one. He told me "it will match perfectly your reel." The reel was a Stella SW 5000 and the rod a 10' Ugly Stick

Hardy, the cork looks cheap. You can see the cork is low quality. Maybe the shape reminds a little bit the handle used in the Jadepython series, but the alikes end there. Maybe you didn't notice the foregrip is still covered with plastic, that's why it looks "cool."

The only saving grace is that the Ugly Stik will be able to handle the ultra heavy FW work that the ZDV is designed for...but with very little refinement or fishability vs other rod options.

Are you kidding? I have 2 Ugly Sticks holding up my tomato's. They hold a lot of tomato weight and scare the birds and possums off.

Ya know, I think one of my yellow Pixies would look good on that rod with the blue yellow accents.
