My new Toy

Post by kbookert » Sun Sep 02, 2007 8:50 am

Just picked it up on Thursday. My 98 Dodge Ram was getting a little tired.

This is a 2007 Toyota Tundra CrewMax SR5.

I despise Dodge. I really hate them with a passion! I had a 2000 Dodge ram and just about everything went out on it at some point.

-Transmission went out
-Brakes had problems with the hydraulic function
-Radiator went out
-Power steering went out

I've heard similar stories from other Dodge owners.

mhood - I bought a 2007 toyota tundra SRS 5 last month with the 5.7 liter (371 HP) V8 and i'm getting roughly 16 to 17 mpg. I have to say this is my first toyota and I love it. I traded my full size chevy in and it doesn't even come close to comparing. I'll never buy another GMAC product again. I let me friend drive my toyota and the next day he went and traded his Dodge hemi for a tundra. He just purchased an add on after market kit that will increase gas millage by 30-40%. I'm letting him field test it before I put it on. Supposedly it pumps platinum or something into the vacuum lines whichs causes the better gas mileage. I'll update when he tests it.

KB, Absolutely awsome 8-). I'd give body parts to own one. I must say though, in England with gas at approx $8-9 per gallon, not the most practical. :(
