Awesome... The bait looks so tiny next to it... You should post this and the report under the swimbait section... Can't wait to see more reports and pics of your swimbait fish..

thanks Dave.....the Lunker Punker isn't a swimbait though...it's a wood glide bait more along the lines of say a 8" Super Magnum Spook minus the rattles and it has 3 treble hooks. It does so much more than the Magnum though. The bait is so big you can steer it into cover,on a fast retrieve walk it underwater, make it pop...tons of action! If topwater is still on for ya check out the Jr. version by Black Dog Baits.

well we have been using the term swimbait somewhat loosely and any big baits we are posting and reporting under that section.. I have a three of the Plunker's (2 plunker and 1 plunker jr) and Cracker from Black Dog.. fun baits to fish with.. I would love to hear more about how your working it.. I have been working it like the a big spook and If I give it a little time between the side to side jerks I can get that thing to glide like 18" from side to side.. I have been practicing not letting the bait glide over the line and foul the hooks..

Man, you CA guys get all the luck. Good weather, beautiful national parks, Jessica Alba, and great BIG fish. Around here, fish the size of your bait are legal. Real Nice Fish. =D>
