Re-registered Newbie!
Re-registered Newbie!
Hi all,
Never got to introduce myself last time I registered, so I figured the right thing would be is to introduce myself this time around.
My name is Edwin from Ontario, Canada. Been fishing since I was really young, but it really picked up in the fall of my 17th birthday when I got my drivers license. Started off fishing 90% crappies for a couple of years, and have since moved onto thinking about bass all the time.
Joined a club last year and found out how much I more there is to learn! Learned and love to dropshot now, although largemouth with soft plastic frogs, texas rigs, and spinnerbaits tight into docks and lilypads are always welcome too.
Here's a couple of shots I got from last year, the first one was my PB smallie that I lucked out for big fish at a club tourney.
One weird thing about me, you guys can bash me all you want for it. I don't know why, but I love to pitch with a 766 which is pretty much a broomstick. We can have some friendly competition to see who's got the more accurate and splashfree presentation any day!

Wow. That is one epic smallie.
Re: Re-registered Newbie!
Thanks Gentlemen!
That smallie weighed in at 4.8lbs, looking to top that by at least a pound this year!

Being a Georgia boy that dreams of returning to Ontario each year for only 1 week of fishing, Im def jealous of your location! Well, maybe not during this time of year, but def once May and June roll around. I practically live for my trips up your way to fish for some walleye, but mainly smallmouth and pike. Ever purposely play with the pike much when you are out? I imagine they can be quite a nuisance if youre only fishing for bass! Man I love pike - gotta love a fish that will eat anything you throw!

Nice Brownie Edwin,
Great lake also. I beleive that is "Hunters" boat in the background. Which rod are you using the Savvy 766 or the Champ? You would probally like the 805 Flip and Punch also for them "Donkey Greenbacks"
