More fine work from Mattman!

Post by North Branch » Sat Apr 16, 2011 8:19 am

Few shots of my sweet new custom St. Croix Xtreme 69MLXF smallie rod. Thanks Matt!

Here's the handle/grip and the Fuji soft touch reel seat.

Image

This ones shows a little bit of that nifty St. Croix "blue/green" flip color when exposed to more light.

Image

Shot of the TiSic's. I like how Matt uses all the same size small ones on the tip section to keep the tip light, and gets the line shooting straight out the tip.

Image

Tried to get a decent shot of sharp detail in the wraps, but my camera (and photography skills) suck.

Very cool, thanks for sharing!
I can't wait until it's my turn to post a picture of my Otterrod.

If you've got one coming, or plan on one... I think you'll be pleased.

Very nice! =D>

I was just looking over my Otterod the other night, and every time I pick it up I appreciate it more.

I had Matt inscribe "Beaver Creek Special" on mine as a tribute to the "crick" where I learned most of what I know about fishing as a boy.

I'm having a North Fork Composites MB 709-1 HM extended to 7’8” with a Slant Bridge harvested from a Megabass rod among other things.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I'll be waiting for some Smallie photos North Branch. Looking forward to see what that rod does for you.
